PUBG Mobile 2.2 Update Ready to Release, Bringing New Content and Maps
PUBG Mobile announced that there will be a major update. Coming with the name PUBG Mobile version 2.2, players will get a variety of new features and content in this game.
Quoted from GSM Arena, Thursday (15/9/2022), some of the updates presented are the new game mode, changes to the visual appearance in the game, including the location on the map that already exists, namely Erangel.
One of the new content introduced in this mobile game is a map called Nusa and features a beautiful tropical region. Nusa itself is said to be inspired by the beauty of the island of Bali, Indonesia.
Later, this map will add a new mechanic called Super Recall. This mechanic can revive players who were eliminated early in the game, as long as they still have a teammate alive.
As for PUBG Mobile solo players on this map, they can respawn automatically. Then for the Erangel map, players will be able to find a number of additions and visual changes in several areas.
This new PUBG Mobile update will also bring Gear Front Mode available on all maps. This mode will offer new traversal and supply options, faster shooting action, more encounters with enemies, to new skills.
Previously, PUBG Mobile continued its commitment to introduce Indonesian cultural wisdom in the eyes of the world. This was done by collaborating with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy to present a map called Nusa.
PUBG Mobile Announces New Map 'Nusa' Inspired by Bali Island
Please note, the PUBG Mobile Nusa map is taken from the word Nusantara, which is inspired by the beauty of the island of Bali, Indonesia.
The collaboration was announced by Menparekraf Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno at the PMPL ID Fall 2022 Grand Final event at Basketball Hall Senayan, 26-28 August 2022.
"The collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and the PUBG Mobile game aims to promote and introduce the beauty of Indonesia to the whole world through gaming and digital technology," said Sandiaga Uno, in a statement received Tuesday (30/8/2022).
Sandi said, the beauty of Indonesia was revealed in the presence of the PUBG Mobile map which was inspired by the beauty of the island of Bali.
"This new map will be named Nusa, which is taken from the word Nusantara and is present at PUBG Mobile on September 13, 2022," said Sandiaga.
Sandi and the ministries he leads also appreciate this collaboration. According to him, the presence of the new Nusa map is a step for PUBG Mobile in introducing the beauty of Indonesian tourism destinations to foreign countries.
"Kemenparekraf really appreciates this collaboration, where the beauty of Indonesian culture and technological sophistication can combine and produce something extraordinary, so that Indonesian wisdom is increasingly recognized in the world," he said.
